Dear colleagues,

it is a great pleasure to invite you to the 7th European Colorectal Congress (ECC) from 1st to 5th of December 2013 in St.Gallen, Switzerland.
This year we have decided to focus on

COMPLICATIONS IN COLORECTAL SURGERY

as these issues are of major importance. For the first time, there will be a course on colorectal surgery on Sunday before the start of the congress where experts will provide basic information on anatomy, preoperative preparations, surgical suture techniques, etc.

Once again, there will be workshops with hands-on training, a video session and the opportunity to watch top surgeons live from an operating theatre. Furthermore, we would like to encourage you to hand in free papers on colorectal surgery. The best paper will win the Poster Award.
